Summary of Terms and Conditions

  1. The Get Hartlepool Active corporate membership scheme is available from 1st April 2016; to eligible employees of registered organisations.
  2. All memberships run for a minimum 3-month period.
  3. The current monthly membership fee is £21, which includes:
    • Access to fitness suites at Mill House Leisure Centre, Headland Sports Hall, and Brierton Sports Centre
    • Access to fitness classes at these venues
    • Access to swimming pools at Mill House Leisure Centre
  4. Membership must be paid by monthly Direct Debit. A pro-rata advance payment covers the period until the first Direct Debit is made.
  5. Members must complete the full 3-month term. Hartlepool Borough Council reserves the right to collect payment for this period if a member leaves early.
    • There is a 10-day cooling-off period from the date of signature, during which membership can be cancelled by written notice to Hartlepool Borough Council at Mill House Leisure Centre.
    • Requests to leave early due to exceptional circumstances must be made in writing for Council consideration.
  6. Proof of employment is required to confirm eligibility. Membership may be terminated if the member is no longer employed by a registered organisation.
  7. Hartlepool Borough Council reserves the right to change activities, prices, and services included within the membership package. 60 days’ notice will be given for any changes.
