A vibrant, community-friendly triathlon weekend hosted by Wild Deer Events at Hartlepool Marina. It features a variety of distance formats - perfect for first-timers and triathlon veterans alike!
How to Get Involved
As a competitor:
- Choose your preferred distance or team relay.
- Register via the Wild Deer Events site.
- No cut-off times - race at your own pace.
For open water swimmers:
- Participate in the 750 m or 1,500 m swim events held on race morning.
- Safety support with lifeguards and first aid.
Race categories:
- Standard Triathlon: 1,500 m swim ▸ 40 km cycle ▸ 10 km run
- Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim ▸ 20 km cycle ▸ 5 km run
- Standard & Sprint Aquabike (swim + bike only)
- Relay Formats available, plus Open Water Swims of 750 m and 1,500 m.
Experience the Finish Line:
Enjoy live chip timing, a medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a post-race snack and drink. Free parking provided.
Active Hartlepool's role
- Official Partner: Teaming up with Wild Deer Events and Hartlepool Borough Council to support event delivery.
- Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteer as a marshal - help direct athletes, encourage participants, and improve event safety. Volunteers receive complimentary Wild Deer event entry (transferable), merchandise, and food/drink.
