Ward Jackson Park

Ward Jackson Park is listed in the National Register of Historic Parks & Gardens because of its collection of Victorian and Edwardian features, which include the fountain, bandstand, lodge and clock tower.
The Park has been awarded the Green Flag Award fulfilling the award criteria for: park heritage, maintenance, environmental management and health & safety.

The Park is set in an urban residential area, the Park incorporates open-grassed areas, trees and flower beds. There is a lake with a wooden pond dipping / fishing platforms. The Park is used for both formal and informal sport and recreation, and angling is permitted on the lake.
The Parks playground was refurbished in 2019 and includes a SUTU interactive ball wall, which can be used by individuals and teams. The SUTU contains 16 illuminated LED panels that register ball contact using vibrations sensors, to operate the wall just press the button and choose a game.

Seaton Park

Seaton Park is situated closed to the seafront at Seaton Carew, an attractive coastal village to the south east of Hartlepool.

The Park is divided into two areas, by Brinkburn Road which runs North to South.
The Park provides a walk through park land from the town centre to the Family Wood then leading on to open countryside and Summerhill Country Park.
