Over the last few months, the team at Active Hartlepool have been working really hard on building new IT systems for both our staff and customers to use. 

The launch of these new systems on the 12th June brought...

A brand new, and easier to use, online booking and payments system for our customers to book their favourite class, a badminton court and much more!

A brand new platform for customers to sign up for swimming lessons online, as well as the ability to top up existing lessons online!

We are also changing some of our processes and procedures...

Membership Cards

If you are an active card member, you must bring your membership card with you for every visit. If you don't, you will be charged the full rate. If you need a replacement active card, you can purchase a new card for £3.00 from any of the centres. 

Member Photographs

We require all customers who use our systems to have a photograph attached to their account. This is to prevent any fraudulent use of memberships. Customers will be asked to have a photograph taken on their first visit to our sites once our new systems have gone live. These images are only viewed by our staff when booking you in to a session or activity, they aren't used for any other purposes.  

Access Control Systems 

The access control system at Mill House Leisure Centre in the gym will soon come back into operation. To use this, you must have your active card with you. For customers who pay-as-you-go, you will still need to pay at reception before heading upstairs into the gym. If you're a monthly member with a fitness suite inclusive membership, you can just make your way upstairs and swipe in at the door. Please keep an eye on social media and lookout for signage in sites confirming the date when this will come into effect. 

Online Booking & Payment

Our online booking platform is brand new for us and there are some differences with the new system, providing you with a much smoother online booking experience.

There are a few things to explain before you start to book using this system:

•If you have a membership with us already, please go to the booking portal and select 'forgotten password' and enter the email associated with your membership to receive an email to set up your password. If you don't have an email registered with us, you will need to do this in advance of using the online booking platform. You can add an email address at reception in any of our sites. 

•If you have never booked with us online before and would like to pay as you go, you search for the activity you wish to book and then register with us and pay online. There is no longer a need to sign up to a membership card before booking. The email address and password you enter will create an online booking account which you are able to reuse 

•If you would like to join with one of our memberships or discount cards please use our online joining platform to sign up for a membership - you can sign up for a membership online here.

You may see that your class looks as though you are booking into part of a room e.g. court 1 of the sports hall. You can choose which ever one of these you like, it does not mean you have to stick to that area in the sports hall it just means this class takes place in the sports hall.

Our Active Hartlepool app is now LIVE!

If you have already used our new online payment and booking system, you login to the app using the same account details. If you haven't yet used that system, you will need to follow the steps above to set up an account on there first before using the app.

Learn to Swim Home Portal

We also have a new Learn to Swim Home Portal system. This system is there for you to view your / your child's progress throughout the lessons. You can also use the portal to top-up lessons if you pay for 10 week blocks. 

To get your Home Portal account set up, please speak to a member of the reception team at Mill House Leisure Centre and they will be able to send you an activation email. 

With us moving systems, unfortunately we have lost all of the current progress, but our teachers are working on this being updated, so there might be a slight delay in when this shows on the system.
