What is Family Time?
‘Family Time’ is an exciting project aimed at increasing opportunities for families to be active together.
The goal? To encourage families to sit less and move more, aiming for at least 60 minutes of exercise every day for lifelong participation in physical activity and promote positive wellbeing for the families in our community.

Wheel of Wellness
After all the stresses and strains, which often come with Christmas, it's no surprise that after the festive period we can sometimes find ourselves feeling, well... a little bit drained not just physically but mentally too.
With that in mind, Family Time have created what we think is the perfect family challenge to push the reset button so you're ready to face the New Year with renewed confidence and a positive mind-set!
Click on the image below to view the Wheel of Wellness, 14 fun challenges that will help boost mental health and wellness. You'll find a printable version, which you can colour as you can complete the challenges and an interactive one, complete with videos and images explaining the challenges in more detail
Burn Valley Fairy Trail
There's magic brewing down at Burn Valley Gardens!
Burn Valley Gardens is a mysterious place and home to many magical beings. From fairies to goblins, it is the job of 'The Council of Magical Creatures' to make sure all the forest creatures live peacefully together.
On our last visit, we found that our resident elves had left us a very special Christmas surprise, which will be sure to add some festive cheer to your holidays. Find out more tomorrow when all will be revealed!
