All swimming lessons take place at Mill House Leisure Centre.
Parent and Baby lessons
Introduction to the Water
Start your baby’s swimming journey with fun, gentle sessions designed to build early water confidence. Using songs, toys, and active play, parents and carers can enjoy quality time while introducing little ones to the exciting world of aquatics.
Recommended for ages 0 to12 months.
Developing Water Confidence
Help your child progress from playful splashing to building real confidence in the water. With the support of flotation devices and guided activities, these sessions bridge the gap between unstructured play and structured learning, continuing their Learn to Swim journey.
Recommended for ages 12 to 24 months.
Ducklings lessons
Make a splash with our Ducklings sessions, designed for toddlers to explore and enjoy the fun of learning to swim. With the support of parents or carers, your child will build confidence both in and out of the water through playful activities and guided learning.
Important: An adult must accompany children in the water for Ducklings Levels 1–4.
Recommended for ages 2 years 6 months to 4 years 6 months (depending on ability)
